Our websites provide a connection to social networks using social media plug-ins. These plug-ins are initially deactivated when you access our websites and do not transmit any data to such services. Only when you activate a plug-in by clicking on the corresponding icon will personal data be transmitted to the selected service (“2-click solution”). The selected service then receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click on the plug-in while logged in to the corresponding service, you can share the content of our pages on your profile. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there.
On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of our websites and to compile reports on website activity. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
For the purpose of ensuring adequate information and system security as well as the recognition and appropriate treatment of malware, our e-mail servers create (also rented) log data on the e-mail traffic processed. We take all necessary and appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. Your data will be stored in a secure, state-of-the-art operating environment. Access to our websites is secured via HTTPS if your browser supports SSL.
